The Porsche Cayenne GTS Powers Into 2025

Don’t look now, but the Porsche Cayenne is old enough to drink. 21 years after the original Cayenne sent ripples through the automotive world with its 2003 debut, Porsche’s unlikely SUV sensation is only becoming more powerful.

A year after extensively restyling the Cayenne model line, Porsche returns with their most driver-focused Cayenne yet: the 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS. That’s right: after skipping the 2024 model year, the GTS returns, more powerful than ever. Today, Porsche Lehigh Valley takes a deeper look at this latest evolution of Porsche’s best-selling luxury SUV

Borrowing from the Best

Like other GTS variants throughout the Porsche family, the 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS offers a more traditional performance experience. In lieu of plug-in hybridization, the Cayenne GTS boasts a 493 hp twin-turbo V8-engine (representing a 40 hp increase compared to the previous Cayenne GTS model). Combined with its performance-focused suspension and handling-focused upgrades, the GTS more than lives up to its moniker (Gran Turismo Sports).

That upgraded air suspension system – complete with adaptive dampers and rear-axle torque vectoring – are strategically lifted from the GTS’s Cayenne sibling, the Cayenne Turbo GT. The 2025 Cayenne GTS will implement additional Turbo GT parts, though it will continue to carry its own distinct design. It will also come available in both SUV and Coupe body styles.

A GTS Through and Through

Despite borrowing elements from the Turbo GT, the newest Cayenne is unmistakably a GTS, as demonstrated by its unique, sporty design. It features a model-specific front fascia with larger air intakes, tinted head- and taillights, and red brake calipers.

The standard Sport Design Package includes rocker panels, window surrounds, wheel arch extensions, and inlays in the front fascia – all of which are painted in high-gloss black. In addition, the 2025 Cayenne GTS is outfitted with 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels, painted in a cool and confident anthracite grey. Another notable exterior alteration: the previously black exhaust tips are now painted a dark bronze.

The interior of the Cayenne GTS has also received a powerful facelift. The GTS adopts the same fully digital dashboard other Cayenne models utilize, which includes a 12.6-inch curved display for the gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch center touchscreen. (An additional 10.3-inch screen for the front passenger is also available.) Ambient interior lighting and a Bose surround-sound stereo system both come standard.

Unlock the Power at Porsche Lehigh Valley

Porsche’s latest Cayenne will hit centers this fall, ushering in an exciting new era for the GTS variant. Until then, Porsche Lehigh Valley is your home for Porsche’s other top-selling vehicles, such as the electrifying 2024 Porsche Macan and the iconic Porsche 911 (which is getting its own massive upgrade in 2025 in the form of a hybrid system).
